Soak dates and dry apricots in hot water for 10 minutes to soften them.
Grind cashew nuts in a food processor until fine.
Drain the soaked fruits and add them to the food processor with the nuts.
Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
Add 1/4 cup cocoa powder and 1 cup desiccated coconut to the mixture and blend again.
Add 1-2 tablespoons of oats depending on the stickiness of the mixture.
Transfer the dough to a lined square brownie pan and spread it evenly using hands.
Use a small piece of parchment paper and a measuring cup to press and smooth the mixture.
Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or freeze for about 30 minutes to firm up.
Cut into bars or squares as desired.
