Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.

Add mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.

Mix in vanilla extract and salt until combined.

Remove from heat and add rice cereal, stirring until evenly coated.

Fold in candy corn gently to avoid breaking.

If desired, add food coloring and mix until desired color is achieved.

Press mixture into a greased baking dish evenly.

Sprinkle with additional candy corn and sprinkles on top.

Let cool at room temperature until set, about 30 minutes.

Cut into squares and serve.
