4 cups vegetable broth

1 cup rice
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
2 bay leaves
1 chili pepper

Rinse mulukhiyah leaves thoroughly and chop finely.

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté chopped onion until translucent.
