Chopped walnuts provide healthy fats and a similar crunch.
In a medium bowl, add the flour, oats, almonds, white sugar, brown sugar, salt, and baking powder.
Stir to combine all the ingredients and ensure there are no clumps of salt or baking powder.
Add vanilla to the melted butter and stir to blend.
Pour the melted butter into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Once most of the flour is mixed in, switch to using your hands to mix until there is no more dry flour and the mixture forms clumps.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking pan with parchment paper by flipping the pan upside down and folding the parchment to fit.
Take about 2/3 of the mixture and press it into the bottom of the lined baking pan to form an even layer.
Place the strawberries cut side down in an even layer across the baking pan.
Distribute the remaining crumble mixture evenly across the strawberries and gently press it down.
Bake in the preheated oven at 350°F for 45 to 50 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbling strawberry juices are visible along the edges.
Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 1 hour before lifting out by the parchment handles and transferring to a cutting board.
Cut into a 3x3 grid to create nine squares.
