400g penne pasta
4 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1-2 red chili peppers, chopped
1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes
1 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

3

Add the minced garlic and chopped chili peppers to the skillet. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

4

Add the crushed tomatoes to the skillet and stir well. Bring to a simmer.

Once the sauce has thickened, add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet. Toss to combine and heat through.
