Start by preparing the seasonings: measure out 1/4 teaspoon each of cayenne pepper, onion powder, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
Sprinkle paprika into the mix, adjusting to desired color intensity.
Add garlic powder and dried oregano to the seasoning mix.
Prepare 1 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese and set aside.
Minced parsley should be prepared and allowed to dry slightly before use.
Take 1 pound of fettuccine and follow the package instructions for cooking.
Use 1 cup of chicken stock in the crockpot.
Add kosher salt to taste.
Measure out 2 cups (1 pint) of heavy whipping cream.
Place all the seasonings into the crockpot, starting with the chicken stock.
Stir the mixture in the crockpot to combine the seasonings with the chicken stock.
Add the chicken breasts to the crockpot, ensuring they are coated with the seasoning on both sides.
Add the diced onion on top of the chicken in the crockpot.
Set the crockpot to cook on high for 3.5 hours or low for 6 hours.
After the initial cooking time, add 2 cups of heavy whipping cream to the crockpot.
Shred the Parmesan cheese to your desired size and add it to the mixture.
Add the cooked fettuccine to the crockpot and stir gently to combine without breaking the noodles.
Add the shrimp to the mixture, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
Top with additional Parmesan cheese and smoked paprika if desired.
Cook for an additional 50 minutes to allow the shrimp to absorb the flavors.
