Add flour into the machine bowl.

Add in the rest of the ingredients and the water.

Start the machine on 1st speed for 1 minute, then 5 minutes on 3rd speed.

Check the dough; if too soft, add more flour; if too stiff, add more water.

Mix continuously for the next 5 minutes until the dough is ready.

Place the dough back into an oiled bowl, cover, and leave to rise until double in size (about 1-1½ hours) or refrigerate until double in size (up to 6 hours).

Knock back the dough and cut into about 12 pieces (about 65 grams each).

Shape each piece as desired; for breadsticks, mold the dough into a ball and roll out to about 10-12 inches long.

Place on a baking tray lined with baking parchment.

Cover loosely with a large plastic bag or a slightly damp tea-towel and leave in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour) or use a proofing box.

Preheat the oven to 200℃.

Bake the rolls for 10-15 minutes until risen and golden.

Transfer to a wire rack to cool before serving.
