Brenda Gantt Orange Slice Cake Recipe

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease and flour a bundt pan.

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Stir in vanilla extract and orange zest.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.

Fold in orange slices and walnuts gently until evenly distributed.

Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

In a bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.

Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake.

Garnish with additional orange slices if desired.
