Vegan Bagels with Cream Cheese

Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl; let sit until frothy, about 5-10 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt; create a well in the center.
Pour the yeast mixture and olive oil into the well; mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 6 equal pieces.
Shape each piece into a ball, then poke a hole in the center to form a bagel shape.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil; add a pinch of salt.
Boil each bagel for 1-2 minutes on each side until slightly puffed.
Remove bagels and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or everything seasoning.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Let cool on a wire rack before spreading with vegan cream cheese.
Mix vegan cream cheese with garlic powder, onion powder, dill, and black pepper for flavor.
