Agave syrup is lower glycemic, while honey is often more affordable.

Cut the ends off and peel the cucumbers.

Cut cucumbers into smaller pieces to fit in the blender.

Transfer cucumbers into the blender.

Add 2 cups of water and 10 mint leaves to the blender.

Blend until everything is completely broken down.

Pour the mixture into a pitcher without straining (optional to strain).

Measure out 1/4 cup of lime juice and add it to the pitcher.

Add 1/2 cup of sugar replacement to the pitcher.

Add 4 additional cups of water to the pitcher.

Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.

Slice cucumber and lime for garnish.

Dip the rim of the glass in agua fresca and then in tajin (optional).

Add cucumber slices, lime slices, ice, and fill with agua fresca.
