Lazy Man's Garlic Knots

Olive oil is healthier and adds flavor.

Grated mozzarella is less expensive and melts well.

Make the garlic spread by combining butter, garlic, and extra virgin olive oil in a bowl.

Microwave the mixture until the butter is melted.

Add chopped parsley and basil to the melted mixture and mix well.

Open the Pillsbury bread sticks package.

Stretch each bread stick and tie it into a knot.

Place the knots on an ungreased baking pan.

Brush the garlic mixture generously over each knot.

Sprinkle salt and black pepper on top of the knots.

Bake in the oven for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool on a plate.
