Salami Croissant

Originating from France, the croissant is a beloved pastry that has become a staple in bakeries worldwide. The addition of salami transforms this classic into a savory delight, perfect for breakfast or a snack. Today, variations abound, with fillings ranging from sweet to savory, showcasing the croissant's versatility.
Pour warm milk into a bowl and add sugar, then mix together and set aside for 10 minutes.
Make a well in the middle of the flour and add melted butter, 1 egg, salt, and the yeast mixture.
Mix thoroughly until the dough comes together. If not using a mixer, knead by hand.
Oil a bowl with baking oil or vegetable oil to keep the dough moist and soft, then place the dough in the bowl and cover it.
Let the dough rise for 45 minutes.
Flour your work surface and transfer the dough onto it.
Roll out the dough and cut it into desired sizes, ensuring the shape is appropriate for croissants.
Grease a baking pan.
Fill the dough with salami, using two or more slices depending on preference, and roll it carefully.
Place the rolled croissants on the greased baking pan.
Make an egg wash by mixing 1 egg with 1 tablespoon of milk.
Cover the croissants and let them rise for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, brush the croissants with the egg wash.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
