Add about six sliced pickles on top of the onions.
Add red sweet peppers for sweetness on top of the pickles.
Add yellow hot peppers for spiciness on top of the sweet peppers.
Sprinkle a little bit of salt over the top of the sandwich.
Sprinkle a little bit of black pepper over the top of the sandwich.
Sprinkle a little bit of oregano over the top of the sandwich.
Drizzle a little bit of olive oil or vegetable oil on top (optional).
Drizzle a little bit of red wine vinegar on top (but not too much to avoid sogginess).
Push down the middle of the sandwich with a big knife to fit everything in.
