Place 1 pound of raw chicken tenders or chicken strips in a large resealable plastic bag.
Add 1/4 cup of flour to the bag.
Season the flour with 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/8 teaspoon of ground black pepper, or to taste.
Seal the bag and shake to coat the chicken evenly.
Pour 2 teaspoons of olive oil into a large skillet over medium heat.
When the oil is hot, shake the excess flour off the chicken and place the tenders in the skillet.
Cook the chicken for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and the juices run clear.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and place it in a medium bowl.
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
Add a 16 oz package of spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove 2/3 of a cup of the cooking water and set it aside for later.
Drain the pasta and dump the remaining water from the pot.
Return the pasta to the pot and set it aside.
Wipe the skillet with a paper towel and add 1 teaspoon of olive oil over medium heat.
When the oil is hot, add three bell peppers (1 green, 1 red, and 1 yellow) cut into 1/2-inch wide strips.
Also add 1 chopped onion and 2 tablespoons of chopped garlic.
Sauté the vegetables for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
Cover the pan, reduce the heat to low, and cook until the vegetables are tender, about another 3 minutes.
Add 1 and 1/2 cups of four cheese Alfredo sauce and stir it into the vegetables.
For a healthier version, consider using a light Alfredo sauce.
Cover the pan and heat the sauce for 1 to 2 minutes.
Remove the sauce from the heat and add it to the cooked pasta in the pot.
Add the reserved cooking water and toss everything together using a pair of tongs.
Toss the chicken tenders with the pasta.
Transfer the pasta to a serving bowl and top with chopped fresh parsley.
Optionally, add freshly grated Parmesan right before serving.
