Add a few more chocolate chips on top of each dough ball for appearance.
Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are set, noting they may look soft when they come out but will firm up as they cool.
Let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
