1 medium onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 medium carrots, chopped
1 medium leek, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup red lentil
4 cups vegetable stock
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Add canola oil to a pot and heat it.

Sweat the onions until they start to sizzle.

Add celery and carrots, stirring until softened.
