Coconut & Pecan Agua Fresca

1 cup pecans
1 cup shredded coconut
1 can evaporated milk
1 can coconut milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
3 cups water
ice

Warm a pan on medium low heat.

Add 1 cup of pecans to the pan and toast for about 1 minute.

Add 1 cup of shredded coconut to the pan and toast for about 1 minute, moving constantly to prevent burning.

Remove the toasted pecans and coconut from the pan, saving a little for garnish.

Add the toasted pecans and coconut to a blender.

In the blender, add 1 can of evaporated milk, 1 can of coconut milk, 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, and 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract.

Blend the mixture well for about 1 minute.

Add ice to a pitcher, then pour the blended mixture into the pitcher.

Strain the mixture into the pitcher if the blender doesn't blend well.

Add 3 cups of water to the pitcher and mix everything well.

Garnish cups with sweetened condensed milk and toasted coconut before serving.

Optionally, add more water to the pitcher for a thinner consistency.
