Parmesan Crusted Ribeye Steak

Grab two bowls for preparation.
In the first bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of Italian cheese blend, 1 tablespoon of mozzarella, and 2 to 4 tablespoons of grated Parmesan. Mix well and add a tap of black pepper if desired. Set aside in the fridge.
In the second bowl, add 1/3 cup of Panko bread crumbs, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning to taste. Mix and set aside.
Season the boneless ribeye steak with avocado oil and coarse salt, ensuring to season both sides generously. Add 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder and black pepper to taste on both sides.
Heat a skillet over high heat until it is smoking. Carefully place the steak in the pan away from you and press it down to sear.
Sear the first side of the steak for about 4 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3 minutes on the other side.
Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the pan, basting the steak with the melted butter. Sear the sides of the steak to lock in flavor.
Remove the steak from the skillet and place the cheese mixture on top. Broil until the cheese is melted, watching closely to avoid overcooking the steak.
Add the breadcrumb mixture on top of the melted cheese and broil again until golden brown.
Plate the steak and serve with a salad and sweet potato.
