Brown the rabbits in the pot until golden.

Remove the rabbits from the pot and set aside.

Add chopped onions, garlic, and bay leaves to the pot and sauté briefly.

Pour in brandy and let it caramelize with the mixture.

Add the rabbits back into the pot.

Pour in a glass of red wine and increase the heat, allowing the alcohol to evaporate.

Add 1 liter of water to the pot and stir well.

Cover and simmer on low heat for 40-45 minutes.

Add diced potatoes to the pot before serving.
