Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a baking stone or sheet inside.
Punch down the risen dough and divide it into equal portions.
Roll each portion into a ball, then flatten into discs about 1/4 inch thick.
Sprinkle cornmeal on the baking stone or sheet to prevent sticking.
Bake the discs for 5-7 minutes until puffed and lightly browned.
Remove from the oven and cover with a cloth to keep warm until serving.
