Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds (for teeth)
  • 1/2 cup red icing (for blood)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. 3Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. 4In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. 5Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. 6Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. 7Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. 8Press a few sliced almonds into the top of each cookie to resemble vampire teeth.
  9. 9Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  10. 10Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. 11Once cooled, use the red icing to create 'blood' around the teeth for decoration.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 can (15 oz) pizza sauce
  • 1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 2 olives (for eyes)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. 3Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. 4Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. 5Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. 6While the meatballs are baking, unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into thin strips.
  7. 7Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  8. 8Wrap the strips of crescent roll dough around each meatball to resemble mummy bandages, leaving a small opening for the eyes.
  9. 9Return the wrapped meatballs to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.
  10. 10Remove from the oven and place two olive pieces on each meatball to create eyes.
  11. 11Serve the mummy meatballs with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
