1

Melt 320 g of chocolate chips and 30 g of shortening using one of three methods: microwave in 30-second intervals stirring in between, double boiler over the stove, or slow cooker with a bowl in water.

2

If using a slow cooker, add enough water to be about 1 to 2 inches above the bowl, place the bowl with chocolate and shortening in the slow cooker, and turn it to low for 45 minutes to an hour, stirring periodically until melted.

3

Prepare a baking sheet with wax paper and wash and dry the skewers.

4

Skewer 5 marshmallows on each stick, placing them 1/4 to 1/2 inch apart to allow chocolate to ooze between them.

5

Hold the skewer over the bowl of melted chocolate and drizzle chocolate over the marshmallows, ensuring to get it in between them, and dip the last marshmallow to cover the bottom.

6

Place the chocolate-covered marshmallows on the wax paper to dry.

7

Optionally, add holiday decor like sprinkles or crushed peppermint before the chocolate sets.

8

Allow the marshmallow kebabs to sit at room temperature or refrigerate for about an hour until the chocolate has set.

9

Use leftover chocolate to make candies by mixing in pretzels, M&Ms, and dried cranberries, then scoop onto wax paper to set.

10

For added decoration, melt additional chocolate and drizzle it over the set marshmallows.
