Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned.

Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and diced onion; sauté until fragrant.

Pour in double cream and bring to a simmer.

Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer until chicken is cooked through.
