Wash the rice with water and drain it.

Add water to a pot, bring to a boil, then pour in the rinsed and drained rice and cook for about four minutes.

In a cooking bowl, add egg yolks, beat well, then add whipping cream, mix well, and finally add sugar.

In a saucepan, pour in the milk, cut the vanilla pod in half, scrape out the seeds and add them to the milk.

Cook the milk over medium heat until it comes to a low boil, add the rice, bring it to a boil again and cook over low heat until the milk is completely absorbed by the rice, about 20 minutes.

Add the egg yolks, sugar and whipping cream mixture, and quickly whisk to avoid lumps in the egg yolks, and cook for another 1-1.5 minutes.

Put the rice pudding into small containers and let it cool completely, you can enjoy it warm, or ice it before eating.
