Slice 2 ripe bananas into thick slices.

Preheat a non-stick skillet to medium heat.

Add 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter to the skillet.

Add 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt to the skillet and let it dissolve.

Lay the banana slices flat in the skillet.

Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes until the bananas start to brown and caramelize.

Flip the bananas over and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes on the other side until caramelized and browned all over.

Serve the caramelized bananas, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
