2 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup red wine
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
