1

Plug in the toaster and turn on the power.

2

Prepare the quesadilla by placing 2 slices of cheese on one side of a large flour tortilla.

3

Fold one side of the tortilla over the cheese, then fold the other side over to create a pocket.

4

Ensure most of the cheese is covered, leaving some exposed on the outside.

5

Set the toaster to about 3.5 and place the quesadilla pocket inside.

6

Press the toast button and wait for it to pop up, approximately 3.5 minutes.

7

Once it pops up, reverse the quesadilla so the exposed cheese side is on the inside and the folded side is on the outside.

8

Squish the quesadilla a bit and put it back in the toaster for about 2.5 minutes.

9

While the quesadilla is toasting, prepare guacamole by chopping about 2 tablespoons of yellow onion and adding it to a mortar and pestle.

10

Add a couple of pitches of cilantro and salt to the mortar.

11

Squeeze the avocado directly into the mortar and mash it up with the onion and cilantro.

12

Add lime juice to taste and mix well.
