Melt butter in a small bowl.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.
Add a whole egg to the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Add the melted butter and whisk well, ensuring the butter is still warm.
Gradually add whole milk to the mixture, mixing well each time.
Add a little bit of orange zest for flavor (optional).
Use a rubber spatula to ensure everything is evenly blended.
Heat a 10-inch non-stick frying pan over medium to medium-low heat.
Apply melted butter all over the surface of the pan.
Pour the batter into the pan and shake it immediately to spread it evenly.
Cook until the edges are dark golden brown, then flip the crepe using two long sticks or a spatula.
Cook for an additional 5 to 10 seconds, then transfer the crepe to a cooling rack.
Repeat the process until all crepes are cooked, making about five 10-inch crepes.
For the orange sauce, zest the skin of a regular orange.
Add orange juice (freshly squeezed or 100% pure) and lemon juice to a pan.
Add sugar and butter to the pan.
Slice the orange into 8 to 12 slices and add to the sauce.
Heat the sauce on medium until it boils hard, then reduce heat to low.
Soak the crepes in the sauce, letting them take an orange bath.
Place the sliced oranges on top of the crepes and pour Grand Marnier over them.
Cook for about a minute, pouring the sauce over the crepes with a spoon.
Serve immediately, pouring the warm orange sauce over the crepes.
