The Best TEQUILA SUNRISE Recipe to Make at Home
Recipe Information
Tequila Sunrise
Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
Pour 2 oz of Altos Plata tequila into the glass.
Pour 4 oz of fresh squeezed orange juice on top of the tequila, leaving a little room at the top.
Slowly pour in 0.5 oz of homemade grenadine to create a layered effect.
Garnish the drink with a fresh orange wheel and a bright cherry.
Optionally, for a frozen version, fill a blender with ice cubes, add 2 oz of Altos Plata tequila, 4 oz of orange juice, and 0.5 oz of grenadine, and blend until smooth.
Pour the frozen mixture into a glass and garnish with an orange wheel and cherry.
