Whole wheat flour adds fiber and nutrients.
olive oil

Avocado oil provides healthy fats.
Mix flour, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
Dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a baking stone or tray inside.
Punch down the risen dough and divide it into equal portions.
Roll each portion into a thin circle or oval on a floured surface.
Sprinkle cornmeal on a baking sheet and place the rolled dough on it.
Optionally, sprinkle sesame or poppy seeds on top.
Bake the bread for 3-5 minutes until it puffs and develops light brown spots.
Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
