Start by making a sauce for the stuffed cabbage using tomato sauce, 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 2 tablespoons minced onion, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1 teaspoon cornstarch, and 1 tablespoon soy sauce.

Mix the sauce ingredients together and bring to heat to blend.

In a cast iron pan, add oil and sauté green bell pepper, shaved cauliflower, and onion until softened.

In a bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, and ground veal. Add 1 tablespoon SPG seasoning, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and 1/2 cup dark brown sugar. Mix well.

Add 1/2 cup beef stock to the meat mixture and the sautéed veggies. Mix everything together.

Core the whole fresh head of cabbage and steam it with about 1/2 cup of water for 10 minutes to soften the leaves.

Take a portion of the stuffing and pack it into a cabbage leaf, rolling it like a burrito and placing the seam side down in an oiled pan.

Place the pan on the grill opposite the hot coals, maintaining a temperature of about 325-350 degrees Fahrenheit.
