2 cinnamon sticks
2 cups basmati rice (washed and soaked)
4.5 cups hot water
fresh lemon juice

Add 2 cups of washed and soaked basmati rice, gently stirring for 1-2 minutes.

Cover and cook on low flame until the liquid has almost absorbed, about 12 minutes.
