Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a baking sheet with foil.
Place a wire rack on top of the lined baking sheet.
Use about 2/3 of a 1.5 pound package of thick cut bacon and arrange it in a single layer on the wire rack.
Bake the bacon in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until it is partially cooked.
While the bacon is baking, prepare the praline mixture by combining 3/4 cup of light brown sugar and 3/4 cup of finely chopped pecans in a bowl.
After 20 minutes, remove the bacon from the oven and brush it with 1/4 cup of corn syrup.
Sprinkle the brown sugar and pecan mixture evenly over the bacon strips.
Return the bacon to the oven and bake for an additional 10 to 20 minutes until the bacon is crispy and caramelized.
