Melt 2 teaspoons of butter in a large frying pan.
Add 2 tablespoons of flour to the melted butter and whisk together.
Let the flour cook for a few minutes, then gradually add in 2 cups of milk, whisking after each addition until smooth.
Cook the mixture on medium heat until it thickens, then add a sprinkle of smoked paprika, ground black pepper, and a pinch of salt.
Stir in 1.5 cups of grated mozzarella cheese and continue cooking until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
Cover the sauce with a lid and keep it warm on the back burner.
Preheat a large frying pan and drizzle in some olive oil.
Sauté 2 diced large shallots and 3 minced garlic cloves for a few minutes until translucent.
Add in chopped asparagus and season with 1 teaspoon of salt, dried basil, dried thyme, and ground black pepper; sauté for a few minutes.
Pour in about 1 cup of white cooking wine and a squeeze of lemon juice, letting it cook down for 5 to 7 minutes.
Add the creamy white sauce to the sautéed mixture.
Toss in 1/2 pound of cooked pasta and 1 cup of thawed sweet peas, mixing everything together.
Cut 7 slices of prosciutto into thin strips and add them on top of the pasta mixture.
