Slice medium Italian sausage and add to a pan over medium-high heat; break it up as it cooks.
Add half a small chopped onion and 6 sliced button mushrooms to the pan; stir until mushrooms cook and onion becomes translucent.
Stir in cubed leftover chicken; sauté for about 3 minutes.
Pour in a jar of marinara sauce and 1 cup of broth; add half a cup of heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of minced garlic; stir to combine.
Add half a cup of sliced black olives, salt, and pepper to taste; stir until everything is nicely combined.
Add banana peppers to the mixture; use any type of pepper you prefer.
Reduce heat and let the sauce simmer while cooking the pasta.
In a separate pot, add 4 cups of rigatoni to salted boiling water; cook until al dente.
Once pasta is done, drain and add it to the sauce; mix everything together.
Top with grated mozzarella and Parmesan cheese; mix again.
Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish; top with more mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Place in a preheated oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit until cheese melts, about 10 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
