Add salt and sugar to the bowl.
Add all-purpose flour and start kneading to make a dough.
Knead until the dough is soft and not sticky, then set aside for 30 minutes.

Roll the dough to create layers, ensuring to roll on one side to keep them round.
Place the chapati on a very hot pan on high flame and remove before they cook completely when they turn whitish.
