Giant Cookie Cake

3/4 cup butter flavored shortening
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a stand mixer, combine 3/4 cup of butter flavored shortening, 3/4 cup of brown sugar, and 3/4 cup of white sugar. Blend until creamy.

Add one egg at a time, mixing until well incorporated after each addition.

Add 2 tablespoons of water and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract, mixing until combined.

Scrape the sides of the bowl, then add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Mix well.

Gradually add 2 3/4 cups of flour, mixing until fully incorporated.

Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Spray a 16-inch pizza pan with cooking spray.

Dump the cookie dough onto the pizza pan and press it out, forming a border about 1/2 inch thick.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until completely done.
