Instructions

- 6Pour the egg mixture over the caramel in the baking dish.
- 7Place the baking dish in a larger baking pan and fill the outer pan with hot water to create a water bath.
- 8Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until the flan is set and a knife inserted comes out clean.
- 9Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
- 10To serve, run a knife around the edges of the flan and invert onto a serving plate, allowing the caramel to drizzle over the top.

- 5Then, dip the soaked bread into the beaten eggs, coating both sides.
- 6In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- 7Fry the coated bread slices in the hot oil until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- 8Remove the fried torrijas from the skillet and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 9Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
