Wash the pumpkin and remove the pulp and seeds.
Peel the pumpkin using a vegetable peeler or knife.
Slice the pumpkin into thick fry shapes.
Transfer the pumpkin to a bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the pumpkin.
Add 1 teaspoon of curry powder, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 0.5 teaspoon of salt to the bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon of cornstarch to the bowl.
Mix the pumpkin with the ingredients until well coated.
Heat 0.5 liters of oil in a medium pan over high heat.
Once the oil is hot, drop the pumpkin fries in one by one to avoid sticking.
Fry the pumpkin fries for about 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Remove the fries from the oil using a strainer.
