Easy Crockpot Cheesy Chicken & Wild Rice Soup Recipe

Prepare 1/2 cup of uncooked wild rice with 2 cups of water in a baking dish.

Bake at 400°F for 1 hour until the water is absorbed and the wild rice is cooked.

In a crockpot, add the cooked wild rice.

Add 3 cups of cooked chicken to the crockpot.

Add 2 cans of potato soup to the mixture.

Add 1 pound of crumbled bacon to the crockpot.

Cut 1/3 of a package of cheese melt into cubes and add to the crockpot.

Stir all ingredients together in the crockpot.

Set the crockpot to low and cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

At the end of 2 hours, add 3/4 of the container of half and half to the soup.

Stir the soup and warm it up, adding more half and half if it feels too thick.
