2 cups wheat berries or Kamut wheat (400 g)
water for soaking and cooking
1 & 1/4 cup cooked wheat with its starchy cooking liquid
1 cup milk
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
roasted nuts
raisins

Soak the wheat berries overnight in water.

Cook the soaked wheat berries in water until tender, adding more boiling water as needed to keep the wheat covered.

Once cooked, measure out 1 & 1/4 cup of the cooked wheat with its starchy cooking liquid.

In a pot, combine the cooked wheat, milk, vanilla, sugar, butter, and cinnamon.

Stir well and heat until warmed through.

Serve topped with roasted nuts and raisins.
