Make This Ham Sandwich And Skillet Apple Crisp In Under 30 Minutes

Ingredients
- ●2 cups all-purpose flour
- ●1 tbsp baking powder
- ●1/2 tsp salt
- ●1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- ●1 cup milk
- ●8 oz sliced ham
- ●4 slices cheddar cheese
- ●1/4 cup mayonnaise
- ●1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- ●1 tbsp honey
- ●1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- 3Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- 4Pour in the milk and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 5Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 6Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
- 7While the biscuits are baking, prepare the sandwich spread by mixing together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and chopped chives in a small bowl.
- 8Once the biscuits are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- 9Slice the biscuits in half and layer with sliced ham and cheddar cheese.
- 10Spread the prepared mayonnaise mixture on the inside of the biscuit tops and place them on the sandwiches.

- ●1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- ●1/2 cup brown sugar
- ●1/2 cup granulated sugar
- ●1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ●1/4 tsp salt
- ●1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- ●1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2In a large skillet, combine the sliced apples, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. Stir well to coat the apples evenly.
- 3Cook the apple mixture over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, until the apples start to soften.
- 4In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, remaining granulated sugar, salt, and melted butter until crumbly.
- 5Add the vanilla extract to the oat mixture and stir until combined.
- 6Spread the oat mixture evenly over the cooked apples in the skillet.
- 7Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbly.
- 8Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- 9Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
