Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 oz sliced ham
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. 3Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. 4Pour in the milk and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. 5Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, drop spoonfuls of the biscuit dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. 6Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
  7. 7While the biscuits are baking, prepare the sandwich spread by mixing together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and chopped chives in a small bowl.
  8. 8Once the biscuits are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  9. 9Slice the biscuits in half and layer with sliced ham and cheddar cheese.
  10. 10Spread the prepared mayonnaise mixture on the inside of the biscuit tops and place them on the sandwiches.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2In a large skillet, combine the sliced apples, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. Stir well to coat the apples evenly.
  3. 3Cook the apple mixture over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, until the apples start to soften.
  4. 4In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, remaining granulated sugar, salt, and melted butter until crumbly.
  5. 5Add the vanilla extract to the oat mixture and stir until combined.
  6. 6Spread the oat mixture evenly over the cooked apples in the skillet.
  7. 7Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbly.
  8. 8Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  9. 9Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
