1

Heat olive oil in a pan.

2

Add washed clean chicken to the pan and fry to remove excess water.

3

Season the chicken with dry spices and herbs, mixing well.

4

Fry for about 5 minutes until flavors marry together.

5

Reduce heat to medium-low and add water to the pot to start boiling.

6

Prepare the dough for dumplings by mixing sugar, baking powder, yeast, and flour in a bowl.

7

Add a sprinkle of salt and room temperature butter to the flour mixture, mixing well.

8

Gradually add lukewarm water to form a soft dough, kneading for about 2 minutes until smooth.

9

Let the dough sit while the chicken broth boils.

10

Once the broth is boiling, add chopped carrots, sweet potatoes, eddo, and cassava to the pot.

11

Wait to add ripe plantain until later, as it cooks quickly.

12

Add whole corn to the pot about 10 minutes before the soup is ready.

13

Cover the pot and let it boil, then add pumpkin and a hot pepper without bursting it for flavor.

14

Add one pack of flavored soup mix to the pot and mix well.

15

Roll the dough into a log and cut into small dumpling-sized pieces.

16

Drop the dumplings into the soup and mix in the corn.

17

Cover and let simmer for about 5 minutes until dumplings float to the top.

18

Turn off the heat and add spinach, letting it wilt in the residual heat.
