Seasoned Breadfruit Wedges

Cut the breadfruit into wedges about 1 inch thick, removing the core and skin.
Peel the skin off the breadfruit wedges and cut out any bad spots.
Pre-boil the breadfruit wedges until halfway cooked, then remove and allow to cool.
In a bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and Italian herbs.
Toss the pre-cooked breadfruit wedges in the seasoned panko breadcrumbs, then dip them in egg wash, and coat again in the breadcrumbs.
Preheat vegetable oil in a pot to about 370°F.
Carefully place four wedges at a time into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
Remove the fried wedges from the oil and drain on paper towels.
