Add tomatoes and cook until they break down, about 5-7 minutes.
Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
Add chickpeas and lentils; reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes until tender.
Stir in chopped parsley and coriander; cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
