Prepare the Betty Crocker Bake and Fill pans by lightly greasing each component with shortening.
Mix the Betty Crocker super moist milk chocolate cake mix with water, oil, and 3 eggs using a hand mixer.
Pour the cake mix into the base pan up to the fill line and fill the top pan, ensuring not to overfill.
Bake the pans at the same temperature but for different times: 28 to 30 minutes for the base pan and 40 to 50 minutes for the top pan.
Let the cakes cool on a rack after baking.
Prepare the filling by chilling a metal bowl and adding 1.5 cups of heavy cream, 3/4 cup of powdered sugar, 3/8 cup of cocoa powder, and 1/8 teaspoon of salt.
Beat the filling ingredients on slow speed to avoid a mess, then increase speed until fluffy.
Spoon the filling into the cooled dome cake, ensuring it is filled sufficiently without overflowing.
Press the base cake onto the filled dome cake and cover with plastic wrap to prevent drying out, then refrigerate overnight.
The next day, prepare the icing using Betty Crocker's home style Fluffy White Frosting mix by adding 1/2 cup of boiling water and beating for 5 to 7 minutes.
Add orange food coloring to the icing until the desired color is achieved for decorating the cake.
Remove the cake from the refrigerator and place it on a cake turntable for decorating.
Carefully remove the cake from the pan and begin decorating with the orange icing.
