Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
Cook 0.5 pound of ground beef in a skillet until heated through and drained of grease.
Mix in 1.5 teaspoons chili powder, 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder, 0.5 teaspoon garlic salt, 0.25 teaspoon smoked paprika, 0.25 teaspoon kosher salt, and 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper into the ground beef.
Spread 12 ounces of tortilla chips evenly on the lined sheet pan.
Add the cooked ground beef mixture over the tortilla chips.
Sprinkle 3 ounces of mozzarella cheese and 3 ounces of Mexican blend cheese over the beef and chips until well covered.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, remove the nachos from the oven and sprinkle 2 thinly sliced green onions, 0.5 cup sliced black olives, and banana peppers on top.
Serve with chunky salsa on the side.
