Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Spray a 9 by 13 casserole dish with cooking spray.

Spread 1 cup of white rice evenly in the bottom of the casserole dish.

Pour 1 can of beef broth over the rice.

Pour 1 can of French onion soup over the rice and broth.

Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste, about less than a teaspoon.

Melt 1 stick of butter and pour it on top of the mixture in the casserole dish.

Place the pork chops on top of the mixture.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour without covering.

Check halfway through to see if it needs to be covered with foil.

Remove from the oven and mix the rice with the soup before serving.
