Combine 1/2 cup rice flour, 1 cup sour curd, and salt in a bowl and mix well without lumps.

Add 1 cup of water to the mixture and mix well.

Grease a plate with oil or ghee and set it aside.

Heat 8 teaspoons of sesame seed oil in a pan.

Add 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds and 1 teaspoon of urad dal to the oil.

Add 2 red chillies, 2 slit green chillies, and curry leaves, and sauté until the dal changes color.

Add asafoetida to the mixture.

Pour in the rice flour mixture when half a cup of water is boiling and reduce the heat to low.

Stir continuously until the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan.

Check the mixture with wet fingers to see if it sticks; if it does, cook for some more time until it does not stick.

Once done, pour it into the greased tray and let it sit before cutting into pieces.
