1

Place 2 pounds of unsplit chicken wings into a Ziploc bag.

2

Add 1-2 ounces of Bullet bourbon to the bag.

3

Seal the bag, removing as much air as possible, and mix to coat the wings in bourbon.

4

Let the wings marinate for about 30 minutes.

5

In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons of molasses, and 1/4 cup of honey.

6

Add 1 teaspoon each of paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper to the saucepan.

7

Pour in 2-3 ounces of bourbon and whisk the mixture together.

8

Simmer the sauce for a few minutes, then remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.

9

Preheat the grill to around 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

10

Remove the wings from the marinade and season with Pulse barbecue rub on both sides.

11

Place the seasoned wings on the grill opposite the coals.

12

Add a couple small pieces of apple wood to the grill for smoky flavor.

13

Close the lid and smoke the wings for about 30 minutes.

14

After 30 minutes, flip the wings for even cooking and browning.

15

Continue cooking for another 15 minutes before glazing with sauce.

16

Check the internal temperature of the wings; they should be around 180 degrees Fahrenheit.

17

Brush the underside of the wings with the sauce, then flip and sauce the top side.

18

Close the lid and cook for an additional 7-10 minutes to set the sauce.

19

Remove the wings from the grill and prepare for tasting.
